Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using IWEYmusic.com. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
Hellström Trading i Göteborg AB ("we", "us", "our") is a company registered in Sweden. We operate the online music platform IWEYmusic.com ("IWEYmusic", "the Platform"), which enables independent artists ("Creators") to upload, distribute, sell, and receive fan support for original music, and enables listeners ("Users") to discover, stream, purchase, and support that music.
IWEYmusic acts solely as a technical hosting and marketplace platform. We do not create, edit, or control Creator Content. Creators remain the sellers of record for their music and licences offered through the platform.
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Hellström Trading i Göteborg AB governing your access to and use of IWEYmusic.com and all associated services, features, applications, and content.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account on IWEYmusic. If you are between 16 and 18, you confirm that you have obtained parental or guardian consent where required by the laws of your country of residence. We do not knowingly permit children under 16 to register.
When registering, you must provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your account details. Providing false information is a breach of these Terms and may result in immediate account termination.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@iweymusic.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. We are not liable for losses resulting from unauthorised account access where you have failed to secure your credentials.
Each individual or legal entity may maintain one active account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent bans, limits, or platform policies is prohibited.
By using IWEYmusic you agree to comply with these Terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, our Community Guidelines, and all applicable Swedish and EU laws.
The platform is provided for lawful personal and commercial use by independent music creators and their audiences. Any use outside this scope is prohibited.
IWEYmusic, including its name, logo, design, software, and all platform-generated content, is the intellectual property of Hellström Trading i Göteborg AB and is protected under Swedish and EU intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without our prior written consent.
Creators retain all ownership rights to the music, artwork, and other content they upload to IWEYmusic ("Creator Content"). By uploading Creator Content, you grant Hellström Trading i Göteborg AB a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, stream, and distribute your content solely for the purposes of operating the platform — including displaying your content to users, processing purchases, and enabling streaming playback.
This licence does not transfer ownership and does not permit us to sublicense your content to third parties for purposes other than platform operation.
When you delete your content or close your account, this licence terminates for that content, subject to a reasonable technical propagation period (up to 30 days). We may retain copies of content involved in active copyright disputes or legal proceedings for the duration of those proceedings.
Any text, reviews, comments, or other non-music content you post on IWEYmusic remains your property. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to display and moderate such content within the platform.
When you purchase a track or release on IWEYmusic, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence that includes:
This licence does not transfer copyright, grant synchronisation rights, or permit public performance, broadcast, or commercial use unless a specific commercial licence is explicitly stated and purchased on the relevant track page.
Each purchase grants a 6-month streaming window. When the streaming window expires, you retain any downloaded files but lose the ability to stream the track on the platform. To restore streaming access, you must purchase the track again, which grants a new 6-month streaming window and a fresh download entitlement.
Where available, you may purchase a karaoke text add-on (+$1.00 USD) alongside a track purchase. The karaoke text overlay is available for the duration of your streaming window (6 months). When the streaming window expires, the karaoke add-on also expires. Re-purchasing the track does not automatically include the karaoke add-on; it must be selected separately.
Purchased music licences may not be resold, transferred, or sublicensed to third parties.
Refund eligibility for music purchases is governed by our Refund & Payment Policy and applicable EU consumer protection law. Digital content purchases are generally non-refundable once accessed, subject to the statutory exceptions described in that policy.
All prices are displayed in EUR. Swedish VAT (currently 25%) is applied to purchases by Swedish residents. EU VAT rules apply for customers in other EU member states. Prices displayed to you will include applicable VAT.
IWEYmusic Credits (“Credits”) are prepaid digital tokens that can be used to access optional premium services on the platform, including AI-generated images, AI-generated video content, and other add-on services powered by third-party providers (“Credit Services”). Credits are a convenience mechanism and not a currency, store of value, or financial instrument of any kind.
Credits are purchased directly through the platform using the same payment methods available for music purchases (see Section 8). Credits are denominated and priced in USD. The current Credit packages, prices, and conversion rates are displayed at the point of purchase and may be updated from time to time. We will provide reasonable notice of any changes to Credit pricing.
Credits may be redeemed against any Credit Service that is available at the time of redemption. The Credit cost of each service is displayed before you confirm the transaction. Once a Credit transaction is confirmed and the service is initiated, the Credits are deducted from your balance and the relevant service is delivered. Credits cannot be exchanged for cash, applied to music purchases, or transferred to another account.
Some Credit Services are provided by third-party AI service providers (including, but not limited to, image and video generation APIs). By using such services, you acknowledge that:
If you voluntarily close your account, any unused Credits will be forfeited. If your account is suspended or terminated for breach of these Terms, unused Credits may be forfeited without refund. See Section 14 (Account Suspension and Termination) and the Refund & Payment Policy for further detail.
Refund eligibility for Credit purchases is governed by our Refund & Payment Policy. Credits that have been partially or fully consumed are not eligible for refund. Unused Credit balances purchased within the last 14 days may be eligible for refund in certain circumstances as described in that policy.
IWEYmusic allows users to send voluntary donations and tips to Creators. Donations are not purchases and do not entitle the sender to any specific content, goods, or services unless a Creator has explicitly and publicly offered something in return.
IWEYmusic does not take a commission on fan donations. Only payment processing fees (charged by Stripe) may apply. The full donation amount, minus processing fees, is passed to the Creator.
Donations on IWEYmusic are personal voluntary payments to individual creators. They are not charitable donations and are not tax-deductible.
Donations are processed by Stripe and are generally non-refundable once processed. See our Refund & Payment Policy for the limited circumstances in which donation reversals may be considered.
We reserve the right to hold or reverse donations in cases of suspected fraud, policy violation, or account investigation.
If you use IWEYmusic as a Creator (i.e., you upload music or other content), you additionally agree to the Creator Agreement, which governs payouts, commission, copyright warranties, and tax obligations. The Creator Agreement forms part of these Terms by reference.
In summary, as a Creator you warrant and agree that:
Payment processing services are provided by Stripe and are subject to Stripe's own terms and conditions. We do not store payment card details.

Creator payouts are managed through Stripe Connect. Creators using Stripe Connect enter into a separate agreement directly with Stripe; IWEYmusic is not a party to that agreement and is not liable for Stripe’s processing of Creator funds. Creators control their own payout settings (schedule, bank account, currency) within their Stripe Connect dashboard. Payout terms are further described in the Creator Agreement.

We respect intellectual property rights and respond to valid copyright infringement notices in accordance with our Copyright & Takedown Policy, the EU Directive on Copyright in the Digital Single Market (2019/790), and applicable Swedish law.
To submit a copyright infringement notice, follow the procedure described in our Copyright & Takedown Policy. Notices should be sent to support@iweymusic.com.
We will terminate the accounts of repeat copyright infringers in accordance with our repeat infringer policy.
We aim to provide a reliable, high-availability platform, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or continuous access. The platform may be unavailable due to scheduled maintenance, unexpected technical failures, or circumstances beyond our control.
We reserve the right to modify, add, suspend, or discontinue any feature or aspect of the platform at any time, with or without notice for minor changes. For material changes that significantly affect Creator earnings or core user functionality, we will provide at least 30 days' notice where reasonably practicable.
IWEYmusic integrates with third-party services including Stripe (payments) and infrastructure services provided by Amazon Web Services. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of these third-party services.
The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by Swedish and EU law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We are a hosting platform and do not endorse, verify, or take responsibility for Creator Content. We are not liable for any claims arising from content uploaded by Creators, subject to our obligations under EU platform liability rules (DSA and E-Commerce Directive). Upon obtaining actual knowledge of illegal content, we will act expeditiously to remove or disable access to such content in accordance with applicable EU law.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Hellström Trading i Göteborg AB shall not be liable for:
Where liability cannot be excluded under Swedish or EU consumer protection law (for example, in cases of gross negligence, fraud, or death/personal injury caused by our negligence), these exclusions do not apply. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) €100.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under Swedish law or applicable EU legislation, including the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU).
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Hellström Trading i Göteborg AB, its directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, with or without prior notice, if:
In cases of serious or clear violations (e.g., illegal content, fraud), suspension or termination may be immediate and without prior notice.
You may close your account at any time by contacting us at support@iweymusic.com or through your account settings. Upon closure, your content will be removed within 30 days. Financial records and legally required data will be retained as described in our Privacy Policy.
If your Creator account is terminated for breach of these Terms, any pending payouts may be withheld pending investigation. If termination is due to copyright infringement or fraud, pending earnings may be forfeited. If you close your account voluntarily in good standing, outstanding earnings will be paid according to the Creator’s payout settings within Stripe Connect.
If you believe your account was suspended or terminated in error, you may appeal by emailing support@iweymusic.com within 30 days of the decision. We will review all good-faith appeals within 10 business days.
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms that cannot be resolved amicably shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Gothenburg, Sweden (Göteborgs tingsrätt).
If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you are not deprived of the protection afforded by the mandatory consumer protection provisions of the law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence. EU consumers may also seek assistance from their national consumer protection authority or alternative dispute resolution bodies in their country of residence.
Swedish consumers may also contact the Swedish Consumer Agency (Konsumentverket) at konsumentverket.se and the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN) at arn.se for alternative dispute resolution.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will provide notice of material changes by:
Your continued use of the platform after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not accept the changes, you must stop using the platform and may close your account.
Minor changes (such as corrections to grammar, formatting, or contact details) may be made without prior notice.
