This policy explains how payments work on IWEYmusic, when refunds are available, and how we handle disputes and chargebacks. All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. under their terms.
All payments on IWEYmusic — including music purchases, track licensing, and fan donations — are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your payment card details on our servers.
Accepted payment methods include Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and other methods available in your region via Stripe.
All prices are displayed in EUR unless otherwise indicated. Swedish VAT (25% standard rate) will be applied to purchases made by customers in Sweden. EU VAT rules apply for customers in other EU member states.
When you purchase a track or release on IWEYmusic, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence that includes:
Unless a specific commercial licence is stated on the track, you may not use purchased music in commercial projects, broadcasts, or public performances.
Digital content purchases are generally non-refundable once you have accessed or downloaded the content, in accordance with EU Consumer Rights Directive Article 16(m) (digital content exception).
However, you are entitled to a full refund if:
Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of the purchase date to support@iweymusic.com, with your order reference number and a description of the issue.
Credits are prepaid tokens purchased in advance to access optional services on the platform such as AI image and video generation. Credits are not a financial product and are not covered by any deposit protection scheme.
Credit purchases are generally non-refundable once any Credits from the purchased package have been used. However, you may be eligible for a full or partial refund of the unused Credit balance in the following circumstances:
Partial refunds (for the unused portion of a Credit package) are not available unless mandated by applicable consumer protection law.
If a Credit Service fails to deliver output due to a technical error or third-party service outage after Credits have been deducted, contact support@iweymusic.com with the transaction details. We will investigate and, where the failure is confirmed, restore the Credits to your balance or issue a refund for the equivalent value at our discretion.
Unused Credits are forfeited upon voluntary account closure or account termination for breach of these Terms and are not eligible for refund. If we permanently close your account for reasons within our control and not caused by your breach, unused Credits will be refunded to your original payment method.
Follow the same procedure described in Section 9 of this policy, stating “Credits refund” in your subject line and including the Credit package transaction ID and the number of unused Credits remaining.
Donations and tips sent to creators on IWEYmusic are voluntary contributions. They are not purchases and do not entitle you to any specific goods, services, or content in return unless a creator has explicitly offered something.
Donations are generally non-refundable once processed. Exceptions:
If the creator's account is suspended or terminated for policy violations before a donation is paid out, the donation may be eligible for reversal at our discretion.

If your payout (as a creator) fails due to incorrect bank details, contact support@iweymusic.com to update your Stripe Connect account details.
Initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer without first contacting us is considered a breach of our Terms & Conditions. We will contest all chargebacks we believe are filed without legitimate cause.
If you have a payment dispute, always contact us first at support@iweymusic.com. We resolve legitimate issues faster than the chargeback process.
Accounts associated with abusive or fraudulent chargebacks may be suspended.
Creator payout terms are governed by the Creator Agreement. In summary:

Hellström Trading i Göteborg AB is registered for VAT in Sweden. VAT is applied to applicable transactions in accordance with Swedish tax law and EU VAT Directive 2006/112/EC.
Creators are solely responsible for declaring and paying taxes on their earnings. IWEYmusic does not withhold income tax on creator payouts (except where legally required). Swedish creators may receive a yearly earnings summary upon request for tax filing purposes.

We will respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days and will appear on your original payment method.
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you may have statutory rights under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), including a 14-day right of withdrawal for certain purchases. The digital content exception (Article 16(m)) applies where you have consented to immediate delivery and acknowledged forfeiture of withdrawal rights at the time of purchase. We will clearly present this information at checkout.
